Over the years many people have asked me: What is it like to have spirit guides? What do they do? How do they talk to you? How do you know they are there? One thing I can say for sure, they always know where I am. They know everything about me and they know how to handle me, my ego and my stubbornness. They know how far I have developed before I know myself. How do I know that? They send me a new opportunity that will open the new door that my personal and spiritual development needs. However, they have taught me one very important thing: To have a good relationship with them I have to have an open mind. I cannot have demands on how I want things to be, because the spirit world I know have a much higher intelligence than I.
I never know how they are going to communicate or when they are going to make contact. Sometimes they just appear in front of me and sometimes I hear a voice. They also like to play games with me. They use a method that is called telekinesis, which means I can put an object in one place, turn around and it has disappeared only to be found some days later in the most unexpected of places. I often laugh thinking: My God, am I becoming senile? That is their way of teasing me and at the same time letting me know that they are close by. They can visit me in a dream or accompany me through the mountain meditation. Sometimes, if I go in the wrong direction and do something that they do not approve of they send me feelings that can bring about self-realization: Oh, I have made a mistake there, I have to say sorry.
Ever since consciously beginning my journey as a medium, at the age of 22, I have realized that they have a vast resource. They use many techniques to contact me when they think it is right. When I have been afraid they have come and stood by my side, through sickness and trauma. They have never been far away.
They give me courage to take risks to open new doors and move forward. They have given me the motivation to step out of my comfort zone and go into a no man’s land. They know how to motivate the pioneering spirit within me when I encounter un-chartered territory. They have taught me to laugh at myself and to laugh with others. Even though the work I do for them is sacred it certainly does not have to be without humour. There have been many times when my spirit guides and I have sat together and laughed till tears have rolled down our cheeks. They have taught me just to be Terry with a gift of mediumship. They have assisted in expanding my vision of mediums and healers, that we all have our own unique attributes to offer. The same applies to my spirit guides, they all have something different to offer and teach me. They have their own skills. The most beautiful thing is that with each step I take with my journey, every time I accept their guidance, it brings me closer to them and I realize what magic they have to offer.
There are still times when I am somewhat reluctant to accept their guidance. I have to struggle with myself and my ego, but they accept that it is part of a process that I must experience, because it is important for my counterparts in spirit that I learn to think for myself. There are times when they simply step back and give me room to make a mistake or let me resolve a difficult situation on my own. If they did not give me that space I would not get the opportunity to grow. They are my friends. I never have to ask them to come; they realize for themselves when I need their assistance.
Over the years we have crossed many frontiers and without their help I would not be where I am today. I have no idea what tomorrow will bring, but whatever it may be, my spirit guides will be there and they will offer to me whatever they deem is necessary to continue my journey with them. We sometimes have different points of view and our discussions, but they have offered me their hand when I have been afraid or unsure and as I said before; we have laughed together. I am glad that they are a part of me and a part of my life.

Fantastisk läsning.
Tack, Terry.
Nu är det bara den svåraste sak kvar:
Hur gör man så att man lyssnar på vad dem säger?
Mina verkar ibland stumma.
Eller är det jag som är döv? ..lol.
Learn to be patient and let them come to you when they decide. Thank you! /Terry Evans
