I was sitting here, thinking about what I could write about. Then I thought: I wonder how the spirit people see us as we go about our daily lives. Do they have a sense of humour?
Suddenly I heard this voice, saying: Of course we do! And then I felt the presence of Ascala. He began to speak to me: We find it amazing when people pray to the higher intelligence for guidance, and inform us that they are ready to listen. It is quite comical for us to observe when we offer them guidance and how they react to it. For example they can say: ‘No, I do not want it like that! It was not what I asked you for.’
It can be so entertaining for us at times, as we watch it from above! Human nature can be so contrary, extremely funny and tragic. It amazes us how you twist and turn the information, in order to find an easier way, when you do not want to accept the guidance that we offer.”
To use you as an example, Terry: How we laughed when you planned to get married for the second time, and we told you in three different ways that this relationship would not work, you and your partner were not compatible! Your reply to us was: ‘I can fix it!’
Human behaviour can be called the theatre of life. It can be a comedy, a drama, a love story, etc. Especially when people fall in love, as soon as that happens, they call us straight away and ask us: ‘Will it be for ever and ever?’ At times we just smile and at times we just shake our head in disbelief. We ask ourselves, what have happened to you and your responsibility, to be patient and take time? Love has to be cherished and worked on in order to find that middle road.
We are here to guide you if we are thinking that you are going in the wrong direction. Sometimes we do not, because you have to work it out for yourselves. But when we do offer guidance, many of you never listen. You just continue to make the same mistake again and again. It does not matter how intelligent you are, but when you go off in different directions because you think you can fix everything yourself, we just watch patiently, and wait for the moment when you will come back to ask for help because you strayed off your life’s path. We will not give up on humanity, not even when ego takes over.
It is time that humanity stop sending lists with demands on what they want in life and what we should give them. Just like you, Terry. You have stopped sending demands, and handed much of the control over to us.
Making mistakes is part of the learning process, and learning from these mistakes enables us to cross bridges, accepting and learning to continue our journey. So humanity is a theatre, and whatever that theatre is about is humanity’s choice and the responsibility of mankind.
We do our best up here; we often have meetings about what we should do about a particular situation or person. Then we send out thoughts or frequencies that come up into their minds, to give them the opportunity of self-realisation.
To learn to listen to what you have realised about yourself and then act upon it, and to listen with your heart and not your ego, is what transforms humanity. Some people never free themselves from their dramas. Part of that transformation means that you have to be honest and that you have to care for yourself.
Terry, I am a symbol of the higher intelligence that has been your constant companion throughout your life. My fellow souls and I have stepped in when you needed guidance, when you got lost along the way. Grey Owl is another example of that intelligence, and he took you on a journey into the wilderness within yourself. He helped you get a structure to it and that gave you more harmony.
Our only purpose is to help humanity and to help you fulfil your individual mission. Even we cannot say that we are perfect. However, collectively we guide you from the spirit world and we are working together to help humanity evolve. If people achieve their purpose in life, they play their part in the evolution of mankind, however great or small.
I hear Ascala laughing, saying: I will visit you again!

Thanks for sharing. You do have a wise guide. ?
I agree! My guide is smarter than me! Thank you. /Terry Evans
Thank you for a brilliant comment from ”the other side”! I’d like to quote Deepak Chopra for a comment on those of us who ignore our guidances: We’re getting upset because ”The universe is not behaving the way I think it should!” (Haha, this captures all the funniness of it, doesn’t it?!) And Deepak’s unfortunately deceased partner David Simon told us about this Sufi and Thaoist saying: ”Those who say, don’t know; and those who know, don’t say.” This and your comments from ”the other side” remind me also of the oh so true advice (I don’t remember from whom) to listen when you’re praying rather than talk … – And the great German mystic Meister Eckehart (whose first name Eckhart Tolle adopted in his honour) has summarized everything you said (and the whole wisdom of life, one might say) by this sentence: ”If the only prayer you say in your life is ’Thank you’, it would be enough.”
Thanks for lots of inspiration as usual! Best wishes from Maja
I like the way you used comments from Deepak Chopra and Eckhart Tolle! Thank you. /Terry Evans
