Here I am sitting in the office, talking to Emelie and Viktoria. We are discussing what inner consciousness is, and suddenly Ascala makes his presence felt. He has something to say, he wishes to contribute to our conversation! When that intelligent being shows himself, he always takes the form of a Buddhist monk. And then he begins to speak: As I have said to you before, which took sometime before you could understand: You are a part of the Ascala intelligence, as am I. I am part of your mind and I am the guardian of your higher levels of consciousness. My purpose with you, Terry, is for you to explore those levels and learn how to use them. Not just for the benefit of your own development, but also to allow your soul to evolve and to expand in consciousness.
Many, many years ago when your life was in crisis, I came to you and I gave you a poem, and the title of it was: “Oh, humble friend”. That was when we started working together, consciously. I introduced you to the concept of feelings and emotions, and the negative effect that they can have upon a human being if they are not confronted, accepted or dealt with. In the poem I talked about a mountain that you needed to learn to climb, without ego or demand. I needed to teach you about consciousness and to be more conscious of yourself.
It took some years, but suddenly you were able to put together the concept of the Mountain Meditation. You started to use it on courses, teaching people how to open up and close down. I remember that day when you first used it on a course. I thought: “He is getting it, slowly but surely!”
One day I whispered in your ear: “Take this meditation to a psychologist and have it checked out, so you can discover its strengths and weaknesses.” I watched with interest as you used the psychologist as the object of your research. He was a good object to use, because he had an open mind. Then one day he made this statement: “This meditation technique, if it is used properly, it will serve to empower people.”
The Mountain Meditation offers the keys to explore the higher levels of consciousness. It creates a meeting place where I as your guardian can meet you, and do my work in bringing you closer to the infinite resource that all human beings have within. You called this technique the Mountain Meditation, and it is good to see that you listened, because that was the title that I wanted it to be given.
Over the years, the feedback that you have been given regarding the effect the meditation has had on people that have used it, showed that in many cases it has brought a better quality to people’s lives. Without them realising, it had enabled them to explore the different levels of consciousness that lie within, and therefore also given them the opportunity to meet the guardian of the knowledge that lies within themselves. The meditation has become a very important tool in personal development. You also use it in teaching mediums, healers and sensitives how to open up and close down to those levels of consciousness. In that way, you show them how they can protect themselves from the myriad of negative frequencies that infiltrate people and have a negative effect on their lives.
I remember the day, many years ago, when a medium said to you: “One day you will work with scientists and be involved in research.” During the research you then realised that the Mountain Meditation was just a mask disguising the nine levels of consciousness that are inherent within every human being. I watched you struggle when you had to find that pathway between the negative and the positive. I am glad to see that you have listened to me and taken heed of the guidance that I have offered.
After the experiences with the research in China, I am glad to see that you just did not wait for others to hand it to you on a plate. You have gone out and pioneered yourself and explored the nine levels of consciousness.
Now we must talk about this mind-map that I have helped you create, and the research that you are doing there. One day it will enable a person that is trained on how to use it, to travel through the different levels of consciousness. By using this mind-map you can travel to these different levels of consciousness at will. For you it is no longer random. Now you have the map, I can instruct you which level of consciousness to go to.

Now I had to google for these nine Buddhist consciousnesses, and they seem to be rather “types” than “levels”, i.e., there seems to be no hierarchy among them. The Vedic approach does seem to include a hierarchy of seven levels (as far as we were told by our TM-meditation teachers), while yogic science operates with a “multi-pronged” approach of eight physical and spiritual types of practices/awarenesses to further our evolution …
But it seems that all these approaches are somehow intertwined and have the same objective – our enlightenment. And the fact that they seem to be intertwined and we even might be able to switch between the different states of consciousness that they include (like Ascala said you would be able to) signifies to me that we’ll remain more or less “ordinary” humans even when we’re able to attain higher states of consciousness:
Eckhart Tolle says that there are no “enlightened human beings”, only “enlightened human actions”; and even the Dalai Lama, when asked if he was enlightened, said, “No, I like cookies”, jokingly – but meaning, of course, the same thing as Eckhart. I like to quote the “Zen saying” that illuminates this matter:
“Before enlightenment, I chopped wood and carried water.
After enlightenment, I chopped wood and carried water.”
Eagerly waiting for your story about when you were able to choose between passing on and staying alive! What kind of consciousness would that be you were in?
Best wishes from Maja
Your comments always provide food for thought. All levels of consciousness are intertwined. If we adhere to them and live them, then the seekers will always go to the right place – the light. Thank you! /Terry Evans
